| During Goku’s absence of Earth Vegeta set off to train to make himself even more powerful than Goku. Eventually, he heard of Goku’s return to the planet Earth and set out to go meet him. There, he found his future son Trunks and discovered, not knowing at the time, that he was a Super Saiyan as well. Enraged, Vegeta flew off in a space ship to train for the three years they had before the Androids showed up.
As the Android Saga was occurring, the Z fighters find out that Vegeta had managed to make the huge transformation from a normal form of Saiyan to the Ultimate form of Super Saiyan. With his new form, he easily takes out the Android number 19, but proves to be no match against the other Androids 17 and 18. Like all other Super Saiyans, Vegeta’s hair turns into gold upon transformation. Body wise nothing changes much except for the fact that his eyes turn green. Upon transformation, Vegeta’s strength increases ten fold and his speed increases ten fold too.

The only other Super Saiyan form Vegeta ever achieves by himself is Super Saiyan Level 2. He never reaches the third form of Super Saiyan Level 3 but eventually he does jump it to get to Super Saiyan Level 4 with help from his sort of wife Bulma who uses a special ray gun to transform him into the state.

| Hearing about the power of the Dragonballs, Vegeta takes a one year voyage to visit the planet Earth where he encounters the Z fighters for the very first time. Nappa easily disposed of all of them and is about to finish them off when Goku shows up on the scene and knocks Nappa silly.
Vegeta decides it’s time to show Goku who’s boss and begins to fight the newly arrived fighter and finally after all is done and done with the battle, Vegeta loses after being crushed by Gohan but is allowed to live by Goku who’s in a worse condition than Vegeta. Vegeta heals himself and flies to the planet Namek where he looks for the other set of Dragonballs to make himself invincible. He runs into Gohan and Krillin there but decides to use them to get the other Dragonballs rather than killing them on the spot. The shaky alliance is formed but lasts for the duration of the saga once Freeza himself attacks them. During the fight with Freeza Vegeta is killed for the first time and is soon wished back to life by the Dragonballs. At the end of the Freeza saga Vegeta doesn’t do much except swear on his life that he will destroy Goku and become the Legendary Super Saiyan that Goku has already obtained. Eventually he does succeed but not until the next saga comes up.

i think vegita is probably the coolest character in the whole series (skip the whole mustache crap in dbgt) due to the fact you slowly witness throughout the series his character changing from a heartless villian in the saiyin saga, a villian in the namek and freiza saga, a selfish jerk off in the cell saga, a man full of regret in the buu saga, and then finally an actual father figure in dbgt.
gohan is awesome too cuz you actually grow up with him throughout the show its kinda cool

Lmfao, there’s only one pic of SSJ Vegeta there, and its the next to last one on the page. What about Majin Vegeta? Is that not a form? It’s like Ascended SSJ2, IMO. So, I think he has 4 forms, just like Goku.
