History: Virtually, Android 17′s story ended way back in Dragon Ball Z with only a brief cameo appearance at the end of Dragon Ball Z, but his story gets picked up once more in the episodes of Dragon Ball GT where the evil scientist Dr. Myu and Dr. Gero plan on getting revenge on their common enemy Goku. |

They create an another Android 17 while in hell to fuse with the current Android 17 to make a Super Android 17. They convince the original Android 17 to go along with this plan and a rift is created between hell and earth so that every villain ever faced since the beginning of Dragon Ball escapes.
Both Super Android 17s fuse together and start wreaking havoc onto the cities killing people left and right while the Z fighters take care of the villains who escaped from Hell. Goku runs into Super Android 17 and tries to convince him to stop his madness but of course he doesn’t listen and Goku is forced to transform into his Super Saiyan 4 and fight. Even at his strongest power, Goku can’t seem to do any damage to Android 17 since every time he does, Android 17 just absorbs the attack, he’s almost invincible. Super Android 17 kills Krillin which sends his sister, Android 18, into a rage. She starts to fight and tell him at the same time to stop his madness. This strikes a chord in Android 17′s heart and seems to take control for only a little bit of time. In this time, Super Android 17 tells Goku his weakness before his evil heart returns and he starts fighting again. However, this was all the time Goku needed to exploit Android 17′s weakness and finally blow him up, killing Android 17 for good. |
